Make Yourself More Recognizable as Gijinka Poke

How would you make yourself more recognizable as a Gijinka pokemon?

I know all the pokemon, but that doesn't mean I can spot a gijinka when I see one. Is there anything to carry with you that would make you more recognizable? (I'm doing Leafeon, btw)

I was thinking of carrying a plushie, or maybe putting the pokemon card onto my con badge. What are your ideas?

Well, what would your Leafeon gijinka look like? Do you have it planned in your head? Or wrote down at all? We can go from that I suppose. Does it have the pokemon feel or doesn't look like something you would see someone normally wear? Or look more like normal, everyday clothes? Any ears or accessories? Adding and taking in all of these aspects can really help.

I won't be giving you a bag of lies, filled with RAINBOW poop.
Don't like the sound of that? Then don't ask for criticism, ask to be pampered.

I finished the costume and everything (including tail/ears), I was just wondering about those extra *accessory* things.

Well, , pokeballs of some sort are a must of course. And a plushie wouldn't hurt either. Hmm..maybe a little leaf/grass symbol hairclip or something like that?

I would 100% recommend carrying around a plushie with you. Not only does it make you more recognizable, it gives people who are looking at you a chance to compare your Gijinka to the actual Pokemon. Plus plushies are always cute in pictures.

Try to stay awa from too many 'normal' clothes and then make sure all ears tails and other big giveaways are easy to see.

example: my shiny Umbreon went unrecognized but with Pichu it was easy to recognize.
While plushies are nice, I don't carry them since I don't have any and they cost more than I want to spend

Yeah, that´s what I thought about too of plushies, they make it easier to recognize the Pokémon. It does look very cute too (if you have the same Pokémon as a plushie as you are cosplaying).

For Leafeon, ears or that you make a small sword so that the blade look like the tail leaf? That could help.

Groups!
I'd feel a million times more confident that you were a Leafeon if I saw another Eeveelution with you, or another grass-type cosplayer.
