Does anyone else remember the ABC Friday night family-friendly lineup that aired from the late-80's to mid-90's? Did you like it or loathe it? Hate it or overrate it?

I loved it when I was younger, but gradually grew to hate it when I got older and became less stupid.
Step by Step was the worst.

I don't. Though that's likely due to my location. (And that my TV-watching was limited back then and is non-existent now).
I do enjoy mentionning in the light of 'Thank-God-Its-Friday' comments that I work only 4 days a week and always have fridays off, so it's even more applicable. </Shameless brag> |

I thought it was only the pilot, then the series was on like on Sundays.
For like, 2 weeks before it was canceled. Not the mama, indeed. SV: I remember that clip, almost too well. Where's the dignity? Good grief...

Come to think of it, I believe that the baby was the first TV character I couldn't stand.

Well, I was young and nobody cared what I wanted to watch, so thats probably why I came to the canceled-early conclusion. I still have all the toys, including the big talking baby, which I dont like either. I used to hang him by his talking string.

Oh geeze, I was all about TGIF. (Of course I look back now and go "Wow, I watched a lot of crap, back then.") And yea, Dinosaurs lasted quite a while (and knowing me, I probably watched it until it stopped airing). I won't lie, as a kid, I thought the teenage boy dinosaur was really cool. -_- (I think the fact that his spikes moved fascinated me...)

Yeah... I didn't care for TGIF very much. I found Dinosaurs to be kind of creepy. And, if anything would have given me nightmares... That show would have definitely been it.

I am so freaking glad the early 90's are over. Please let them never come back again.

I remember watching it but never enjoying it. It was just something that my family did. And when you had one TV and a tiny home, you pretty much did what the family did, too.
I hated the Dinosaurs baby but my sister could do a spot-on impression of it. "Heh, heh, heh, gotta love me!" No, no I don't. Argh, and now I have the stupid jingle from the TGIF lineup stuck in my head. Thanks bunches.
