Help with gold Crown(GoT)

Hey guys! This is my first post on this site. I made an account just for suggestions on this haha. Ive been thinking of cosplaying Viserys from Game of Thrones but when he is wearing his "gold crown". I need help on making his "crown". Im not sure on how i can get the melted gold look.
Any tips?

I recommend Worbla pellets. http://www.mycostumes.de/Worblas-Deco-Art_1 Heat them in boiling water, pad a wig stand to match the size of your head (at least all I've found have been way smaller than any human head) and use it as a mold to shape the mass. Once it's dried, the outcome is very durable.

You'll have to be quick though, it dries very fast.

I think the make up or prop section would be of better help This section is for people who don't know what/who to cosplay
