Jewish cosplayers?

There's a Christian cosplayers thread, and I know a lot of people into cosplay are atheist/agnostic, but are there any fellow Jewish cosplayers?
Possible Cons for 2012:
Ohayocon // A&G Ohio // Colossalcon // Dragon*Con // New York Comic Con

Cosplays for 2012
Eileen [Silent Hill] // Paz [MGS] // Amber Sweet [Repo] // Sif [Marvel] // Stephanie!Robin [DC] // Black Queen [Marvel] // Poison Ivy [DC]

Yo, fellow Jewish cosplayer here. In fact, in the Abridged Series of Ranma 1/2 I make, I made Ryoga Jewish as well. I know a few other Jewish cosplayers, although just a small handful.

according to jewish faith if your mom is jewish, you are. if only your dad is, you're not. no half jew status 8U it always annoys me when people say they're half jewish because that means they didnt take the time to research where they came from.

Aww this poor thread. I will kick it back up. I'm Jewish, several generations back on my mom's side. I've never been religious, though I did grow up celebrating Passover, Hanukkah, etc. Lately I've been playing around with the idea of attending a local reform synagogue. This synagogue recently officiated a same-sex wedding, so I think their Shabbat service would be worth checking out. I couldn't get into a conservative religion, so I'm glad my family isn't even Orthodox to begin with.

It looks like the only thread that got anywhere was this one but it's quite a bit older than the one here so I didn't try to revive it.

Kicking this thread right up! I come from a conservative family with religious sisters, so they are always kinda fearful of anime and stuff... It's a tough one trying to keep up with your cosplaying career while fighting for mantain individuality...Kinda took up from the jews of old times the issue of "remaining true to who you are, even though they pursue you and try to change you"... well, sort of dramatic focus regarding cosplay, but i think it's somewhat accurate for my situation... ^^u
The crowd's waiting....razzle dazzle them!

I'm Jewish <3 It's something I've never doubted and never felt the need to specify. It doesn't matter to me, orthodox, reform, or conservative. I'm just Jewish ^_^
