Lol, that's like the Anti-Geth/Kill talk in ME2 all the while your Geth is in your party.
I was surprised to see him again in this game. Last time I saw him he was a queasy, scared, crybaby trapped behind some wall of magic in the circle tower....lol. I liked "flirting" with him on the mage play through in Origins just to make him nervous.

I finished my crown, I finished my crown! But I'm not sure I like it...=(
Aren't we our worst critic??? I will live though, and maybe remake it later on, for now, I don't have time.

So I've been busy todayyyy... I finished the bodysuit only to make the feet bits far too small, haha. It'll be covered by leather bits so I'm not really worried or freaking over it. No pics of the whole suit unfortunately. I'll have to get my friend to take some tomorrow for me.

Speaking of, tomorrow I have to start the legs all. over. again, but that's alright. It'll be easier with this new method instead of sewing and hurting myself. It's nice to finally get some things done!

Haha, I have a love/hate thing for Cullen. He's sweet and I love his VA, but I've been kind of off-and-on 'ehhhhh' with his whole 'mages are evil durr' bits in the first game.

@ Muramasa ] - I think your crown looks great! Maybe it could use some texture/weathering, but even then that's just miniscule details.

So I think I finally let the tattoos dry long enough, but I still encountered some that did NOT want to un-stick from the paper....so that is why I only have one chin tattoo -_-;;;

but on the bright side, I love how they look! I decided to cover them with a bit of concealer and then my foundation, so they are a bit lighter than I wanted. I will just have to print them a bit darker next time!
Can't wait to actually start the costume part! I will hopefully be getting a job after my trip to DISNEYWORLD with my fiance

Dude, Cullen was not a crybaby, Cullen was a man who had been imprisoned and tortured for who the hell knows how long.

The fact that he was still sane at all is damned amazing.

yeah, he wasn't a crybaby, he was severely broken. And that's where his hate for mages was from, he was just reacting to the torture that he had suffered. He had witnessed horrible things because of mages, and while the wounds were still fresh, his brain logically went to the "the mages must all be killed so this can never happen again" solution. It makes sense if you know anything about how humans work.

Yeah, something about the color bugs me though still, I might look for my gold rub and buff and and add some of that. While it's not screaming "HEY IM F*CKIN GOLD!!!" anymore, it seems a bit brassy too me. I think the Gold R&B might help it out, and if I do it right, I can keep the brass like gold and use it for weathering.



Lol, he was on weeny mode to me, but even still in DA 2 he did come to his senses and go against Meredith. After all he had a huge crush on the Mage Grey Warden and it seemed like in DA 2 they still brought it up. You have to be introduced to Abominations at some point as a Templar. ;-) Consider him now.....hardened. He's still infatuated with his mage though. ;-)

Lady Muramasa: The crown looks fantastic! And I totally hear you on criticizing your own work, I'm the same way...but I also have this "if it bothers me enough I'll fix it attitude" lol

Lissiekun: I like the tattoos ^^ and the ears!! I think the shade of the tattoos is fine. In the game they're pretty subtle, so they might stand out too much if they're darker. That's just my opinion though.

Murasama, I think the crown is looking great! I think the gold rub-n-buff is a good idea... it might add just that extra little bit of depth to give it the right patina.

Lissiekun, I think the makeup over the tattoos really works! It gives them that "under-the-skin" kind of look.

Palaven... That's a really clever idea for the shoes! I never really thought about the fact that Merrill and Fenris are actually walking around barefoot before. Bare feet on the floor of the Hanged Man? That's a disturbing thought. :P

Also... it's official now... I've been convinced I should make an Isabela costume for DragonCon. So now I've got a little under 4 months to put this thing together! I've got a good start; snagged this on Ebay for less than $10. It just needs a little tweaking and the right corset!

I've decided to save doing fenris (or in my case femris since I decided I cant pull off a male hahaha) and start maing mage hawke champion armor for otakon. could anyone pass me along some good pictures of the armor? or know where to get a grey fur collar?

Awww... sorry to hear the Fenris isn't going to work out, but I'm excited to see some Champion armor! I've got some pics I can send, but they're on my phone. I'll get them uploaded and post some links for you tonight!

Speaking of tattoos, is there any way someone could like....so with Mage Hawke's arm tattoos what was done with Merrill's face tattoos? It would be awesome not to have to paint them on (or to at least have a base to paint over...since it kinda looks like blood anyways).

My boyfriend would have to be painting them on for me and it will take him forever...he's such a perfectionist about it xD
