No-Face structure materials

need advice on how to make no-face structure more rounded over the head. If i dont have some sort of material attached to my mask/helmet, it will look too flat. No-face should be flowing and no harsh edges. any ideas for some sort of material that will be easy to work with and lightweight? How can i attach the material?

Thanks in advance for any advice or opinions!

Im guessing No Face from Spirited Away? If so, I would buy some upholstery foam. 2" or thicker and stack them until you have the proper hight. Hollow out a portion to fit your head like a hat and round off the foam to get the shape you are looking for under what ever material you are using for the costume.
