Then again, I left school when I was 16, so what do I know?

Any subject that helps you learn to research sources, analyze information, think critically and communicate clearly is a useful subject. A good program in philosophy can certainly do all those things. Though, me, I went for physical sciences.

Q.Q I shaved my son's hair today, it was down to his shoulders and now its only like 1/4 inch long... He looks like a young man now. I don't hate it but eh he looked so much more adorable with long hair!!! GROW BACK HAIR GROW BACK!!

Good news though, his awesome potty seat is suppose to arrive in the mail today. I'm hoping this will make it easier for him to learn how to potty train. :/ his detachable potty seat is pretty crappy plus he can't put it on the toilet seat right..

OTOH - it might also turn a person into an insufferable, unemployable, navel-gazing old windbag. *dances away before you can hit me with a hammer*

Technically, the important stuff you learn in class isn't taught by teachers, it's developed by yourself. (As already stated) Stuff like philosophy can give you better ways to express yourself.

...but that's a byproduct, all the subjects you cover in those courses aren't going to help you later in life directly unless you plan to teach them :/ Personally, I only found those classes interesting as "filler" --- or whatever proper term for those courses to have to pick from a list to complement your studies field.

Several years after being done with school, I've realized I only use derivative skills I picked up from either classes, or what those classes let towards --- and very little of the actual material that was taught. Be they optional classes or those related to the actual course field (Administrative IT)

I've given up on the US making a Sherlock rendition I would find enjoyable after the Sherlock Stark fiasco. Is it *needed*? I dunno, but there seems to be plenty of people after the movies --- albeit those are a different story altogether.

The idea might be trying to cash in on that success, I dunno.

This morning, in Skyrim, I obtained the Ring of Peeless Destruction.

I am never taking it off.

I think the Khajit already had this as a default for their species? I think it was called 'Territory Claim', they rub their bums against tree's,buildings, rocks, sprigon, thugs,mudcrabs,etc..to make a clear ring around where their territory is. The only thing that can trump this is when the Argonians lay an egg within their marked territory.
