That must be incredibly difficult, and I feel for you.

On the other hand, you now have an excuse to wear fabulous wigs everywhere.

Come on, admit it, they're cute! I was like obsessed with them in 7th/8th grade (my pre-internet days if you will).
The little-nerd-Sakura read about them in one of those science magazines they gave out at school.

Present-nerd-Sakura had fun making ellipses in precalc today. Ellipses are cool. Why is math so much fun.
I'm not saying that they aren't (I've always though they were kind of cool), it's just that I noticed people had suddenly started taling about them....

EDIT;

Behold! Quail's eggs!

They're like mini eggs without the chocolate. And they're as hard to find all year round, not just outside the Easter months.

^ D'aw. Eggies. I love how colorful eggs can be.

In other news: FREEDOM! School is over for the summer and I have never been happier to see it! -runs away in a whirlwind of fabric and craftfoam-

My mom used to get quail's eggs sometimes, when we were young and she was still a hippie. We'd always be like WTF Mom they don't even taste awesome or anything just get regular chicken eggs JFC.

They are tiny and cute, though.

ETA: And now that we're talking about eggs I have a craving for Scotch eggs.

I'm back from my doctor appointment. Got blood drawn and then got McDonald's afterwards.

What did you get?

More importantly, are you okay?

It's just to see if my thyroid levels are where they should be. Last time they were too low.

And as for the McDonald's question, I ordered the mushroom and Swiss Angus burger.

Getting your blood drawn always feels weird (I had to have it done a few times a few months ago to make sure some medication wasn't damaging my liver). It depends on the skill of the nurse or doctor, I suppose though.

Man, I had no idea they were that teeny-tiny. How many does it take to equal a chicken egg?

I think I would be more worried for you for ordering McDonald's.

Roughly half a dozen quails eggs to a chicken egg, but it varies.

I'm planning to use them for these; http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/sm...ies_with_11074

Man, for what it took for you to find those, I hope it turns out to be worth it.
