Maybe not the putting everything together afterwards part, but the store is hilariously fun to walk around in.

I'm odd - I like assembling furniture. Like, if it needed to be assembled in my house and my mom bought it after I was a certain age I probably put it together.

Saturday night gf and I are going to look thru the ikea catalog my mom got and get an idea so she can budget. Plus, the nearest Ikea is in Stoughton which is like a half hour away. Which isn't far but it isn't close either.

I have an ENT appointment in the morning. I'm a little nervous, mostly because I googled my symptoms and like 3 different sources said "Meniere's disease" which my moms cousin has.

But I've decided that if whatever is wrong is permanent and I need hearing aids or something I will have to get pink ones.

Airport shuttle comes to pick us up in half an hour. Having pre-flight "what if I forgot to pack something important" jitters.

Plane is delayed by an hour and a half. Gonna have a lot of quality DS time at the airport. Time to try to catch up to my friend in Pokemon Snakewood! Or continue Prism, whichever.

I love my cosplay room. Which isn't a cosplay room, it's actually just the majority of my basement, which I share with my brother and step brother.
But no one cares until my brother has friends over and wants to use the pool table for something other than sticking costumes and fabric and stuff on.

But lol, I haven't unpacked my stuff from Otakon yet, so I literally have a giant pile of stuff in my living room. I should be nicer to my costumes...

That's what I like about owning my own place. My whole house is my crafting area. The kitchen has the sewing machine, the living room is my cutting area, and my room is the model area/storage area. Surprised my wife doesn't give me more crap about all the stuff I have laying around.

Not really, it helps me from getting really frustrated and overwhelmed. The walk between gives me some cool down time.

I would just like a bigger kitchen. More space to work my culinary magic in. My husband and I have been talking about maybe finding a house to rent or one that's being foreclosed on and move out of our apartment when our current lease is up. Whichever we choose, I hope the house has a really nice kitchen.

Currently my sewing machine is at gf's. So... When I'm working on something I just take over her kitchen table for hours at a time.

At home I tend to bead in my room and handsew either in my room early in the morning or in the kitchen later in the day (best light. I need it wicked bright when I'm sewing by hand or I get headaches. Except the time I hemmed Gf's pants with a fever of 101 degrees - completely straight and even stitches. (I didn't realize how sick I was when I hemmed them)
