:3 Bought new reclining rockers for our game room and the chairs are really comfy, so much nicer than our old reclining couch. We've been spending the past few weeks setting up this room since we both were tired of being in different rooms while playing games.

We took our son to McDonalds for dinner tonight, he spent the entire time in the playplace and when it was time to leave he refused to get down... I had to climb in and get him, which of course he threw a huge fit over, I then had to carry him out because he kept trying to go back in. He threw this big tantrum because we had to leave to go to Toys R Us to buy HIM stuff. lol. We were going there to buy him a new table set and a little kid Thomas the Train rocker/recliner so he could have a 'cool' chair like ours. We ended up buying him one of those crappy foam unfolding couch bed things for little kids since the Thomas chairs where out of stock, He's currently passed out on it which makes me happy. :3

This string of bad luck is just continuing... the dryer decided to break seconds after i put a load into it (and not even "just stop working" break, I mean horrible screeching sound like a dying engine, smoke smells coming from inside it and shaking all over the floor- I thought the damn thing was going to explode or something), the kitchen fuse blew when I was in the middle of cooking my lunch and we wee out of the right amp fuse, so I had to wait for Dad to pick more up before I could eat anything, and my trip to the fabric store was a waste and all but one staff member was unhelpful as hell or just plain rude....

On the only two plus sides, I got paid $20 for fixing the buttons on a bunch of Mom's bf's work shirts, and I have a job interview on Wednesday.

My big dream is to attend the Art Institute of Houston and get a degree in Culinary Arts. So when I saw that the Food Network had a Scholarship form that I could fill out, I was like "Hey. I'm gonna go for it!"

First off, good luck! Second of all, I think they want you to try to explain WHY your big dream is to get a degree in Culinary Arts. How long have you had this dream? Why didn't you pursue it earlier? Why do you think it's time now? Why do you deserve this scholarship over the other applicants? That kind of thing.
