I've never watched Dr. Who, the only reason I know the actor's name and role (This is a big deal for me) is entirely due to the women gushing about him.

Boyfriend and I got the gecko some crickets and dusted the crickets in calcium powder, but he's still holding dirt in his mouth and being weird. Boyfriend is concerned he might be a she, and lizards can lay eggs without mating but if the eggs become impacted it can pretty much be a death sentence for the lizard.

Although I know more about snakes than geckos, if you/your boyfriend can feel a bump or hard mass, or see swelling around the cloaca/lower "abdomen" area (dunno if it's termed differently on a gecko), it could indeed be that. Worth checking, certainly. (Also, gravid reptiles/amhibians tend to eat a lot less when it's almost time to lay. Has s/he not been eating much in the las tfew days?)

To summarize, people who believe they can actually live, for YEARS, without ANY food or water because evidently you're like a plant and can get all your energy from sunlight and fresh air. Stupid and/or misled, depending on the person. The people who pay these "ascetic gurus who need nothing" 10 grand to spend a week supposedly learning how to live without food are misled and kinda stupid, and the fake gurus who claim that crap are both stupid AND deceitful.
