He looked disappointed and kind of talked about how nice and pretty she was before slinking off looking forlorn and dejected. Apparently he'd come back now and then and ask other workers if she was back, where she was working now, etc... When she WAS working he would always come in when she was working and try and hit on her. Again, this man was old enough to be my grandfather. I always wondered if she quit to work with her parents because of him, because he seemed really intent on finding her again.
