Yes they are, because you have to be very precise with them and keep the perspective PERFECT especially if the barrel is facing the viewer.

I know 'Wiki how to' stuff isn't really fantastic but for some simple pointers this provides good examples of how to layout various gun designs before building upon them.

I emphasize drawing a bunch of different angles for the gun you want to draw before going and throwing it in the picture. Like for example:



If the gun is presumably going to be drawn in someones hand you might want to look up pics of folks firing weapons. Each weapon is held differently and seeing real world images of people firing them helps out a lot;

Capitalism is a love/hate relationship for me.
I had to take my car to the shop because both th inner and outer door handles on the driver side broke. Inside the door, there's an arm which connects the 2 door handles together and keeps them working. The 2 joints of the arm broke. 1 just fell out of place and the other needed to be replaced.

Here's there the hate part starts. The bill was $200, which is most of my usual pay. However, 3 days earlier, I spend $130 on a Sailor moon dvd set on ebay. So now I'm $330 in the hole until the 15th.

And the icing on the cake. The majority of my next pay is going to one of my friends to cover my share for Ohayocon. AND I have a gift to buy for a co-worker for the company Christmas dinner.

I'd say that's fair enough. It's a website dedicated to people gathering together in person en masse. It's not quite the same as meeting someone on Neopets and agreeing to meet in a dark theater.
