Well, I got to work 45 minutes late and still nearly got stuck- luckily my cab was an SUV one with actual clearance. One of the little prius ones wouldn't have made it at all. The driver got a nice tip. Mom's snowed in, too, since they take forever to plow the Collins Bay subdivision here. She couldn't and won't risk getting her 1-ton cube van out of a completely unplowed street. Fortunately they got all the main roads cleared, so getting back home shouldn't be an issue. (And Dad had a hell of a time; he had to leave at 7:15 for work. He then spent 20 minutes digging out the car, had to dig out a lane in the parking lot, got stuck in the driveway, had to go back in to change socks because his feet got soaked, got stuck AGAIN at the end of the unplowed road and got rescued by the passing plow, and then to top it off, forgot his lunch.

I tend to dip everything in sour cream. Especially potatoes.
Also, cheered myself up from the craptastic weather by spending those mall shopping cards and my bodyy shop gift card. Money well spent; I've got the perfect makeup for my next cosplay, things to watch and listen to, and got a 750 ml bottle of strawberry bodywash for $10. And of course I bought a hot chocolate.

I am not a fan of sour cream myself.
I've still got all mah stuff: 15$ itunes card, $15 starbucks card, $100 from my dad, $100 from brando's grandmother and $50 from his parents. Kinda thinking about picking up an infuser teapot so I can purchase tea leafs and what not.

Last night I got home and found out that in the money from my relatives, a bill I thought was $20 was actually $50. O_O
Almost. Done. With Hello Kitty. Hat. ._. I will not touch fur or furry things for a long, long time after this. I still have 3 Tardises to make!
