On the subject of hair: I'm trying to grow mine out right now, but the split ends... I'm having a really hard time dealing with that. Eventually I'm just going to say "screw it" and get a pixie cut, but I'm not nearly brave enough yet.

I have to do some BS government-regulated customer servce traning thing today. I really thought I was done with this when I moved from the store to the office, but apparently since I fill in for my coworker in the sales office once a month, I'm not off the hook. This stuff doesn't even apply to us since we're not open to the public >_>

My hair is at a really awkward stage of growth where the only thing I can do is put it in a ponytail because absolutely everything else I try to do looks wretched. My split ends are out of control. I need a haircut so bad but hate going to get them. I would also like to just get a cute pixie cut, but
a) it would look terrible on me, and
b) it requires a lot of upkeep, and anything that keeps me out of the salon as long as possible is my friend.

So I'm looking at books for children, scrollin' my way through, and I see George R. R. Martin, A Song of Ice and Fire, and I get REALLY EXCITED that this is some sort of illustrated version for toddlers. It turned out to be a calendar that had gotten listed in the wrong section. I was so disappointed.

Meanwhile, I have been dealing with this student who needed some help with her immunization records. She's been nice but really needy and kind of a pain in the butt, and I when I saw that she'd emailed me for like the thousandth time I was about to get irritated, but then I saw she'd written "Thank you so much, you and [NURSE] are so helpful. I wish everyone at [COLLEGE] could be like the two of you."
