Huh boy. Tomorrow's my first day on cash at work since the penny phaseout. I'm still confused as to how some of this goes. And I'm sad, being a coin collector.

I forgot how upsetting the 'animal cops' series is on Animal Planet.

Like.
Horrifically upsetting.

This last episode was all about animal hoarders who keep cats in horrible condition and I couldn't help but think of Jiji and the way he was kept as a kitten before going to the shelter.

OH I know, pennies won't REALLY be gone for a few years.

How it works is if they pay in cash, you have to round down or up, it depends on what the store wants. If they pay in debit/credit, they can still charge the pennies, "pennies" will always exist, but only as a number.

This one girl I was seeing for a bit had a cat that if you were laying in bed it would try to go IN your shirt, little pervert.

Mine did occasionally (I say did, because he died at almost 18 in 2010). But he was kind of a starey cat in general.
