So for Anime Expo my friends and I are gonna cosplay Homunculus versions of Ed, Al, and Winry. We got the costumes fine but there's ONE thing my friend and I are debating about...

What to do for Al's hair??

Should we use long and brown like in the original series, or short and blonde like in Brotherhood. My friend says it may be more recognizable with long brown hair but I like how his hair looks in Brotherhood better. What's ur guys' opinions??

It really depends. Do you want it to seem canon to the manga or to the (non-canon) so called 'original' Fullmetal Alchemist series?

If you want canon, go for the short blond look. If not, the brownish one will do well.

I hate it when people dismiss the first Fullmetal Alchemist series as not being canon.

It IS canon. It's just a different canon from the manga, and from Brotherhood.

If it wasn't canon, it wouldn't have it's own anime series/movie/book tie ins.

On topic, I'd say go for the long hair. It's more Homunculus-y.
