I already have the perfect wig, but I don't know what kind of fabric I should use for the costume .-.

Anyone here have any tips on making Cirno's wings?

I have an idea on how to make mine. I'm either going to do foam with wire inside and a harness back-Cutting a bunch of sharp shapes out with a bit of math and making them all 3D and stuff, or I'm going to make a wire cage for each crystal and cover it with fabric. Not sure if that'd help.

Depends if you're accustomed or even going to going out in cold weather. I actually used mine for cold weather. I used a light cotton for the vest, I also used cotton for the shirt underneath (since I just stole it from my Reisen cosplay.), it's that kind of material you use for dress shirts.
I made the bloomers out of a thick stretch polyester and the clothing accessories out of just broadcloth. The cape in the back was a light blue mesh.

You can use Clear Stretch Magic string. Its the same string they use for bead bracelets and you can buy them thin as you want for a "floating" look. And their cheep. Though you might have another issue if they are to long and tangle with the other crystals.

Yeah I was thinking of that to attach the crystals to the stick... thing. But I still need to figure out how to attach the actual stick to myself/the costume.

Uh, this is just in theory because I haven't actually done it yet, but for my Flandre I was going to make a harness for the wigs with elastic, and put it through buttonholes in the back of the vest. ;u; possibly using an invisible zipper in between so I can take the wings off...

I thought of putting slits on the back of the costume and attach the wings on a harness that's worn inside the costume (or just stick it on the bra xD). Sorry if that's what you meant.

It would be awesome if I could make the wings fold up so I can walk in the convention halls.

I love touhou! I royally suck at the games, but they're addicting. I don't think I'll ever get out of easy mode. Sky Arena is fun too though! I mostly listen to the different compositions of songs, watch fake amv's, MMDs and other people play.

I'm a big Utsuho fan and I'm going to cosplay her as soon as my hair gets long enough! :3 It's my 'dream cosplay' so I'm very excited!

Hm, did you download the games? I really wanna start playing them but I don't know where to download them lol

Anyways, I still hope I can do Flandre this year. I was thinking of getting a short wig (To reuse as Rin from Vocaloid) and getting extensions to make the ponytail. OR I can get a wig that has 2 curly pigtails and just use one of them lol what do you think?
