Taokaka (Blazblue) N> Help/Advice on Paw Shape/Pattern

Hey there, I've been tossing the Idea of doin a male version Taokaka Cosplay. And I got a nice plan on paper. I just wanna make the bottomless hoody into a one piece jump suit hoody, but I think the hardest part for me will be making her paws. I'm not fully sure of a pattern to make or how to maintain the shape. I want to keep that round teddy bear paw shape.

The ideas I came up with so far:
> (Easy way) Stuff the paw area with cotton or a small pillow.
> (Hard way) Get some styrofoam and shape it (I want something that holds the shape of the paw, and can hold her claws in place, really wanna go with this idea)

Any body have any additional thoughts to throw at me or tips on working with Styrofoam or a better material? And does anyone have any tip for makin the Teddybear is paw pattern? I feel that if I can get her Paw sleeves done the rest of it will be cake.

stuff it with batting. it holds very well. you also need about three darts on the top half of her paws to give it the nice round shape. I was studying the muzzle of my stuffed cow because it kinda looks like her paws. it works better than just sewing two pieces together.

It would be a good idea to buy some scratch fabric (muslin or cheap fleece) and do some mock-ups until you get the right shape. It is absolutely possible to use 1/4" foam (not craft foam) as an interfacing to shape the paws. You will most likely need to lightly stuff the paws, even with the foam interfacing, but it should reduce the weight of your paws significantly.

I say purchase some samples of the materials and test different methods until you find the one that works. Good luck!
