Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I'm also rereading Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. It's one of my all-time favorite books.

Fairly amusing, but I preferred both America, The Book and Earth, The Book.

Pariah by Bob Fingerman... but I really don't recommend it. It's easily the worst zombie novel I've read in a long time. All buildup and no climax. Well, there was a climax but it was sorely lacking, and the author used a really tired plot device to try and salvage some semblance of sympathy for the main characters. It didn't work.

World War Z, on the other hand, was awesome. Perhaps my mistake was in reading it before Pariah, because you can't even compare the two.

Just started rereading Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life. I read it years ago in middle school, and last Saturday I saw it in a used book store I visit often. It was only $2.50 so I went for it. I don't remember it very well so it's like I'm reading it for the first time again.

Just finished A Clockwork Orange and the Picture of Dorian Gray. Now I'm starting The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Tarzan of the Apes. (Mostly classic lit, really) Then I'm waiting for the latest of the Alchemyst series...

I don't now. I tried to like it. I wanted to like it..... I just got to a certain part and could never get past it.

I'll probably try again in a year or so. I set on finishing this book if it kills me.

Just Finished "We Are Amused: A Royal Miscellany". basically an A to Z reference of everything you could ever want to know about the Queen and the royal family. And lucky me, I managed to borrow it from my Aunt who'd been lent it by ANOTHER lady, who bought it in Scotland. Since it's not available outside the UK yet.

I'm reading "Way of the Shadows" by Brent Weeks. There are 2 more books in this series.

If you played "Assassin's Creed," then yeah, it's like that. ^^

Right now I'm reading the complete Hitchhickers guide to the galaxy even though I should be working on my jacket for a Con at the end of May.

Finished Colbert's book yesterday. 60 pages into "Out of the Dark", which is a sci-fi novel, with the premise that Earth/Human are a threat to mankind and the planet's nuked, and then occupied by an alien race. And things start going bad for the aliens.
