computer to camera

Well I used ta take alot 'a pictures using my phone and sometimes I would take pics from my computer and put them in my phone. Now that I got a camera though I'd like to take some pics from my computer and put them in my camera but it won't work nor will it respond reading the SD card. At first I tried the usb connector and took a picture and put it in the folder but it never came up.

the added picture

it not showing up

I have a bloggie camera and the SD card is a 4GB. When I put the SD card in the light comes on that shows you its in there but when I click removable disk I(which is for the SD card) windows explorer becomes non responsive but if I take the SD card out then it goes back to normal and just says insert removable disk and what not. I tried to update it and it says its up to date so whats going on x_x

Most pics that you put on a memory card and try to view on a camera won't display. It'll generally only display unedited pics that were originally taken with the camera.

No I am just incredibly unhelpful.

Here we go.

I have a laptop with an SD card port so I don't us a USB cable to load pictures onto my computer and I haven't had an issue using it directly that way.

maybe try having the picture in landscape shape with a same resolution that the camera can take photoes in. also try giving added pictures the same naming structure like DSC00108.

Why do you want the picture on your camera in the first place? I mean the idea is to take pictures... and then put them on your PC, not the other way around?

Well, like I said before... Generally cameras don't allow you to put pics on their removable or internal storage and display them with the LCD unless they were taken with that camera and haven't been altered.
It 'may' be possible to display them if they're in the same resolution and naming structure, but it's still pretty unlikely. Phones, media devices (iPod/PSP/etc.), and similar devices are built with this functionality in mind where cameras generally are not.

For the SD card not being displayed, it could be a few things.
#1. I'd run a few different virus/malware removal programs to ensure you don't have an infection. Combofix, Avira, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, and Spybot are good for starters.
#2. I'd recommend getting the most up-to-date driver for your SD card reader and then uninstalling the device in the Device Manager and re-installing it with the new driver.
#3. Your device may just be malfunctioning on a hardware level and you'll need to pick up an external card reader. These can be found for $5-$15 depending on how many forms of media you want it to read.

I can put pictures from my computer on my phone and I know in the camera they'd come up better.

I see and here I thought if I could do it on the phone that I could do it on the camera as well.

It may just be that the camera's photos have a specific encoding on the files (which probably? disappears if you put / edit pictures on the memory card) when the picture is taken.

My SLR has the same problem; if I were to do anything to a picture that I took with that camera and edit / add new picures onto the card (edited/added from my laptop), the camera won't be able to identify what type of file it is, and therefore is unable to display the picture.

Phones are different because you can use your images for IDs / backgrounds / whatnot, so of course they'd have to be able to display them.
