Parents will always provide you with fundamentals from their past experiences, then it's up to you to determine if what they were saying just to help you along with your life. It's like religion (but I won't go into further philospohy than that)

You're better off just measuring yourself with only either one of those scales as reference. By using the same scale every time, it's always calibrated to the last time you would step on it. Better yet, you could just get your own scale and use that scale to measure yourself all the time. Also, the clothes that you might be wearing can also affect the numbers too. I would not make it a habit to measure yourself every single time, but if you do, pick one where you'd always be wearing the same articles of clothing (ie... the bathroom...) Also, as well as seeing a number, also see how your clothes fit too.

Second, I find that general family physicians are concerned about weight based on BMI, which is the ratio of weight to height. Most of the time, it's a great reference, but doesn't consider body composition into the equation, which is far better as a health measurement.

Finally, and a bit more scientific. The body is able to burn up to 0.7% of its body fat each week. This is why it's difficult to lose those last few pounds after dropping some weight if they keep their diet the same, because at that point they might actually be losing weight faster than the body can handle safely. This is where protein becomes more important where it's pretty much a buffer to prevent muscle loss while still dieting at lower body fat levels. If weight loss does go on a standstill for a couple of weeks, it might mean a slight intake of calories might be needed each week.
Funny thing I've been the same size (in pants) even when I was 3o lbs heavier XD I tend to like loose clothes But yeah I hear what you're saying, someone told me the same thing once about how it eventually gets harder to loose weight. I think I'll stick to measurements until I get good digital scale XD Thanks!

For me, sports really help. I play volleyball and basketball which help me maintain an average weight. I weigh at most 120 lbs and I'm 167 cm tall.

I would really like to lose some fat off of my face and my thighs. My parents tease me a lot... Is there a weigh to lose baby fat easily???

And keep working hard everyone! Remeber to excersize lots!
Nice idea! I haven't had a good jog since middle school now that I think about it

Ouch,

After reading this entire post I would highly recommend against doing this diet. There are so many things this person is doing that is not supported scientifically, and in fact borders on dangerous.

Many of the changes this person has made has been based on common myths, and not what the scientific evidence points to.

I'll expand if some are interested, but in the mean time, I highly suggest anyone thinking of adopting this diet please check with a medical professional, or at the very least do some research on reputable websites.
