HELP! Wearing/Attaching wings on a backless dress?

I'm cosplaying suigintou from rozen maiden: http://www.cosplayhouse.com/images/D..._0 2-7-03.jpg

But my dress is backless!
I am planing on making wings around that size...
But how will I wear them/construct them without them being visible through backless dress?

Thank you so much for your help!

I'm thinking very lightweight wings, and lots of spirit gum (as well as a trusted person to help you put them on and take them off). Glue the suckers to your shoulder blades. That's what I think, but I have absolutely no experience or sound reason to back my suggestion up. ^o^

Maybe you can get hold of some clear straps to secure them across your chest under the front of your dress. It'll also lift 'the girls' if that's helpful.

If your dress is very tight (corsets work best) then sometimes you can put the support for the wings on the bottom, with a band around your midsection. I can't seem to find the tutorial anymore, but maybe just the thought will help?
