i'd go for the original version. choice 2. Its going to be the most recognizable and isn't horribly complicated. But... I have a secret love for the 1st one. *purr* burlesque Alois.

i was going to go the original until i saw the burlesque outfit, then i was thinking about him as a girl. Cus he looks like mariya in that dress ^^;

i guess after i finish my first alois i'll do the bulesque outfit 8]

Definitely not the maid-with-apron outfit, people might mistaken you for some other character. Choice #2, the original, will probably gain you more recognition. Choice #1 is a cute as a costume, if you have skills and want to challenge yourself then that'd also be a good choice

As the others have said, #2 will get you the most recognized. But I'm kinda loving #1. If you have the skills to make it, that would be amazing.

Is the burlesque outift canon or just fan art? It's pretty but I'd avoid doing something that is simply fan art as it's likely not to be recognized.

Thanks, I was worried that might be the case with the maid outift, since he does resemble Mariya[MariaHolic] and Shihoudani[PrincessPrincess] when hes in it. Especially the hair part, but I do really like it, I think he just looks so adorable in it.

I know that I'd get recognized better in #2, but I feel that the outfits been a little over done. Ciel seems to be the only character that gets an actual outfit change and is easily recognizable as ciel. =/

I'm not sure if its fan art or not, but either way I still really love it. I think I'll do it later this year or early next year when I have more costumes under my belt.

I personally love number 4...It's just so cute.
I think the only reason you should do Maid!Alois is if you have a Pirate!Ciel to accompany you. Because that would make for some awesome candid shots.
Original is overdone, and I personally dislike the maroon coat. I say 1 or 4.
