Hi! I've made comic costumes before, but nothing like this. Example: [1] [2]

Now, I'm going to start with a base suit, but I'm unsure of what materials I should use for the white bits. I was thinking PVC, but I'm wondering if that would appear too shiny or just be inappropriate for the costume?

I'm also looking for a good website for base suits I could use. I liked the look of this wetsuit lycra suit, but the colour was off unfourtunately.

Any tips, suggestions, or help would be quite appreciated!
Also, please no Brightest Day spoilers since I have yet to get the final issue!

riversedgedancewear.com and dancewearsolutions.com both have a great selection of bodysuits. I would think that you might want to use the same or similar fabric to the bodysuit that you get for adding the white details. Otherwise, if you don't want to worry about matching the fabrics, I would say white liquid leather look spandex would look nice (though going for the liquid leather spandex in the bodysuit would be nice if you can find it too)

I've only seen stretch spandex, and honestly I know nothing of it or if there is even a non-stretch spandex. I could use spandex for the cape, shoes and boots? That wouldn't look off?

I have used this ebay seller for several custom body suits and have been very happy with the quality and it didn't take but 2 weeks to get them each time. I sent pictures and measurements on them.
