Finally pulled the fiberglass armor off of the duct tape body form. Need to bondo over the fiberglass here and there and sand, etc. But it's getting there! The aluminum that is stuck to it will be removed as well. It's there because It was placed on the form to keep the fiberglass from sticking to it. Worked great! This will be trimmed, filled in here and there with bondo, sanded, and painted to look like his armor. Will be working on this more this weekend!Last edited by CreativeGuy : 05-10-2011 at 08:24 PM. |

I'm doing one of these as well, probably just going to use some thin foam fancy dress armour, stiffened with card. At least at first, I may make some more solid stuff eventually.
