Revisiting details on a Blood Elf Mage costume

I'm finally getting around to finishing some of the details I let slip on my Blood Elf Mage costume from Blizzcon 2009.

The costume is based on the male mage in this early Blood Elf concept art.

I didn't have a chance to make the red & gold bracer/cuffs nor the dagger blades that hang from the belt.

The shoulder armor needs some finishing work. Honestly I'd love to redo them in leather rather than wonderflex.

Finally, I only had time to give the staff one coat of paint before Blizzcon, it looked decent in pictures but man it was a mess up close.

Can anyone recommend a wig based on the picture? The one I used is currently missing so I'll need a new one.

Thanks, I'll have a look.

I think I figured out what I did wrong with the shoulder armor, I used a solid piece of wonderflex to connect the two pads in the back. I'm going to try replacing that with something flexible.
