Servbot helmets with Wonderflex?

Hello all, I was planning on making a few Servbot helmets using Wonderflex. What would be the best way to go about this? Should I make a model out of some other material and lay the Wonderflex over it, or should i just use two layers of Wonderflex?
I have never worked with the material (or even attempted building a cosplay) before, and any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't really know right off the bat. I haven't worked with Wonderflex yet, so I don't know much about the stuff. But I'd probably go with whatever way is easiest for you.

Also: We're thinking about the same servbots (kobuns), right? :3

WORKING ON - White and Black (Pokemon Black and White), Jane Crocker and Roxy Lalonde (Homestuck), Todd Snap (Pokemon Snap), a lot of Peach outfits (Mario Bros.)
STALLED - The other Megaman cosplays, most anything involving a fancy dress or bodysuit (Multiple series)

Yep, we're thinking the same Servbots haha. We plan on having a group of about eight running around an anime convention in these helmets.

Craft foam should be a good base material to use. Pretty cheap and really flexible..

That's fantastic, thank you. Do you think crafting foam will be suitable for the kind of helmets we're trying to make though? (My avatar is of a servbot, we're trying to emulate his head.)

I have a friend who made a FAN-tastic Servbot head using a trash can he bought at Lowes and butchered/painted. It looked pretty awesome considering they made it, while drunk, in one afternoon, so I'm sure if you were trying for better quality yours would be even MORE awesome, ha ha. ((Attached a pic of his finished product, it was part of a Dead Rising costume, and worn to a local GameStop's Dead Rising 2 midnight launch.))
