What are your favorite anime opening(s) and/or ending(s)?
I don't think there is a thread for this so I'll go ahead and make one ^-^
The title pretty much explains itself; What is your favorite anime opening or openings? If you feel like telling us, why? Feel free to post links too :3 One of my faves is the second opening of Macross Frontier (Lion), especially the second half of it. I love the song and I really like the animation, plus you get a good picture of what the anime is about from watching it. There's just so much awesomeness going on in it, I can't describe it well in words, but the whole opening makes me feel good, idk really.. ^^; [link] Another one is the opening to High School of the Dead. Once again, I really like the song, but I also like the opening because it's kinda... unique? It's kind of in another style than most openings in my opinion.. Or at least parts of it. [link] My favorite ending of all time must be the second ending to Shiki. I usually don't even bother watching the ending more than one time because I find them boring, but this one really caught me and I watched it every time at the end of the episodes ^-^ [link] ... And now that I start thinking some more I'm coming up with so many other awesome openings and endings... But I won't make this post any longer, so those three gets to be enough XD;

fav opening is the opening to cardcaptor sakura..y? no idea..its my fav anime ever so that could possibly be it..but the songs catchy..and the first season not the second..lol..
ending song....hmm....ill edit when i think of one lol.. EDIT: mmk found an ending i like.. I just bought the japanese box set of vampire knight..the ending to the first season..(i only listened to it on the first episode tho) so that song..pretty good

I can't remember anything from that far back at the moment, so I'll just put one of the new animes I've seen that just stick with me.
For openings right now I would have to say the opening to Eden of the East, Falling Down by Oasis. It's really rare for an anime to use an english band for an opening and I just really enjoy the song along with the animation. For endings, I really enjoy the endings of Gintama and its latest ending, Samurai Heart, I enjoy seeing each episode. It's a song that really suits the series.

I have a feeling a thread like this was made before, but that's okay.
Air TV - Beautiful theme, and beautiful opening. I love how the more you watch the anime, the more you understand what's going on in the opening. Angel Beats! - Kanade playing the piano! Woo! I love the heart beat line that constantly goes through the entire OP. Gawd I love Jun Maeda's composing, and Lia's singing.  Valkyria Chronicles anime - [OP has spoilers]While the anime was a disappointment, the opening was full of awesome with a kick ass action sequence (something that never actually happens in the anime).

Favorite opening - Hit in the USA by Beat Crusaders from Beck: mongolian chop squad.
Favorite commercial bumper in the middle of the show - azumanga daioh Favorite ending theme - I WOULD say deep forest from inuyasha, but nooope I've been possessed by MaruKaite Chikyuu from Hetalia (seriously I have like 6 different versions downloaded).

I love the opening Soul Eater opening. I love that song, and I always watch it lol.
I also love the Ouran High School Host Club opening. I... I don't even know why. I just do. The Baccano! opening is also great, it reminds me of Cowboy Bebop's opening, musically (And I absolutely love Bebop's opening). As for endings? I always liked this Bleach ending, even if I never liked Bleach much. And the Kuroshitsuji ending is so cute, lol. Probably my favorite ending XD

I'm suprised that no one has mentioned Haruhi. The opening and ending songs of both seasons are extremely amazing. I think my favorite is super driver (season 2 opening) it is really catchy and really captures the hyperactive nature of the show and title character.

My favourites all have to do with complete randomness:
1. Galaxy Angel AA Opening - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqcCCJupkww - and it's a catchy tune too! 2. Sgt Frog Opening - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brgSL07TTNI - notice the English translation at the top, so funny. 3. Sgt Frog Ending - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWI-Uv1EDsU&feature=fvsr - Just love it. 4. Daikon Brothers Opening - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5FGsoEoNJA - the anime itself is complete and total random but that theme plays in all the episodes. It reminds me of Blues Brothers

Okay, so it's been a while since I posted here, and I have totally found a new opening to add to my list of favorites, the opening to Blood-C [link]. At first I didn't like it too much, but it has really grown on me. I adore the song, especially the full version of it, as the second verse is in French <3
