YEHAR!!! Locks of Love!! That's why I'm growing my hair out.

Back to the real topic of the thread. A person should make their decision about their hair based on what they want/like. Might have to fight with it a little bit and do some experiments, but that's all part of the fun.

Personally I like short hair, but if the girl styles it right long hair is quite good as well.

Whatever they prefer. I think it's lame to say "Girls should have long hair, guys should have short hair"; it's really their choice.

For me, some women look better with short hair, some look better with long. Don't know why, but both are attractive on the right person.

lmao, ok here:
wave: like a mixture of curly and straight. Most people have this as a natural texture.
layer: instead of having all your hair the same length, you layer it, making top layers shorter so they create a sort of "sharp" effect. I have legit mullet layers, but with swooshy bangs. My shortest peice of hair is 2 inches. The longest is about... err... a foot? thanks to layering!
poof: push hair back against the roots to make it poof.
tease: back-combing so that hair sticks up. Scene Girls/Fran Fine-type girls tease their hair.
razor: taking a razor comb and basically ripping half your hair out so it's thinner/sharper. I do this. It helps in the summer/athletics if you don't like pulling up your hair.
flip: taking the hair and straightening it, but curving the iron on the end so your hair flips out. Or, just curving the iron the whole way. I personally don't do this, I straighten the doodle out of my hair.

You know what I do?
shampoo
shampoo AGAIN
shampoo bangs
condition
condition AGAIN
condition bangs
pin back bangs
dry
straighten
hairspray
sleep
straighten AGAIN
spray AGAIN

BAYUM. needless to say, my hair is pretty freaking damaged... but i LOVVVVE ITTTT.

It's a matter of perspective in my personal opinion.

The perspectives;

The indivdual who has to deal with the hair, what does SHE like on herself.

From the observer's ( ME ) point of view. I PERSONALLY take the hair as part of the overall frame of the female's face in question. Does it compliment her features OR does it detract/distract from her features? As a GENERAL answer, most females look better from my point of view with longer or medium length hair. On occasion though, I see some who have that perfect hair and facial combonation that work perfectly with short hair.

It all goes back to perspective though and what a person likes ( whether the one who is wearing the hair or the one who is noticing the hair ).

It all just depends on their facial structure etc. Some can rock with any length and/or style while others look their best with some certain ones. o3o

It was only after I had my hair transformed from long layers to an angled bob cut that I realized nearly EVERY girl at my university has long hair. Nearly all of them look the same.

I think shorter hair on young women stands out more. Long hair is often a vanity thing; I frequently see other young women discouraged from having their hair cut short because "BAWW YOU'LL LOOK LIKE A BOY" and other stupid crap.

I prefer short hair for ease of care and styling. It's easier to just fix random curls with an iron than trying to style over a foot of hair.

I really like the look of long hair, but I can never get mine to look the way I want when it's long. Since I have fine hair, I don't get to keep my curls once my hair grows out. It just becomes a barely-wavy mess with lots of frizz. ;____;
/WOE.
