Midna Cosplay Help?
Okey. So.
I've been wanting to cosplay Imp-Form Midna from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for a while. I love her, and she's a bit...curvier? And so am I, so I figured I kinda had her body type? *cough* I have an hourglass figure and my measurements are 38-30-40 (Maybe a bit smaller? I've lost some weight, but, you get the point). I just don't want to cosplay her and have people think me odd.... *shrug* Other than that, I don't know how exactly to go about the helmet, or even the suit for that matter... I was thinking about buying a plain white or black zentai suit and sewing in the details, but.... *shrug* Is there anywhere that would do custom commissions for not too much money on zentai/spandex suits? Thanks! xxMidnight ![]() 216817_1577892621517_1661679015_1164677_6993038_n.jpg

Hey! I finally finished an Imp Midna unitard and helmet. I messed up the unitard about 4 times, so I can tell you what not to do. haha.
First I painted the white onto a black ordered zentai suit and it looked awesome, until I put it on and the paint peeled off. I read somewhere to wear it while someone paints it for you, but then it will eventually peel off anyway. I even got some nice jacquard paint that would stay when you heat-set it with an iron. still peeled. ![]() So I ended up sewing the white part on using white spandex and zigzaging the edges so it would stretch with the suit. It looks better and works pretty well. It just turned out to be a headache learning how to get there. I think I am still going to paint the blue/green parts on though.

Oh, and I posted some pictures on my site with progress if that helps.
For the helmet, I used the blue sleeping bag padding found at Walmart, a hot glue gun, clay, and make-it-stone paint. I burned the details in with a woodburning tool. A warning though, make sure your work area is well ventilated when you are burning foam. It gets stinky...

What Viveeh said. I used fabric paint on the shirt for my Chris costume, that stuff NEVER falls off.
