Bandages and the harder part would be the helmet that she wears.

Both of those are really pretty simple for those that lack professional sewing skills like me. :P

^ That's a great suggestion, Leela's outfit is definitely easy to come by since she wears pretty much the basics. Her outfit is actually pretty similar to Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy Vii, though Tifa wears a mini skirt.

If anyone has ever read the Dragonlance series, then I recommend Raistlin Majere as a fairly simple outfit. Depending on which variation of Raistlin you choose, he either wears red, white, or black robes (many cosplayers I've seen choose the black ones ^^), plus black pants (jeans could be used). For the shoes, a simple pair of boots will do. His staff is also surprisingly easy, just a long wooden rod with a dragon claw on top holding a crystal, though some illustrations show it as just a crystal on the top with no dragon claw. The only complexity is the skin tone, as he does have gold skin, and the eyes which have hourglass pupils. Since no contacts I have seen have hourglasses for pupils, I believe just golden colored contacts can be a reasonable substitute.

However, if you are going for young Raistlin a la Soulforge, Raistlin's appearance is much different then. His hair as a youngster is reddish-brown, just like his brother's. His eyes are blue. Also, he wears white robes as a young mage, not red or black. Most people go for the post-Test look though as it is very cool.

Scout from TF2 is a very easy cosplay. All you need is a red/blue shirt (That's up to you), a bat bag, a black cap (Or any of the other hats you can wear in game), a headset with a mic, dogtags, dark green pants, high socks tucked into the pants, black shoes (Sneakers or cleats), and a baseball bat.

Reason I say he's easy is because a lot of the props/costume pieces require little modification and can easily be bought new or at a second hand store like Goodwill. The only limit is body type. If you're on the bigger side, I wouldn't try this.

Another TF2 character who's easy is the Spy. You just need a dark blue or red suit (Again, up to you), a balaclava (You can find those on eBay), black gloves and dress shoes, a watch, and a toy revolver.

As for his knife, most cons probably won't allow a real one. Thankfully the Spycicle just came out from the last update. The fun part is the disguise masks. You don't have to stop at the other team members, you can do masks of other things like internet memes (Trollface, Rage Guy), other video games (Portal Cake, Mario), anime characters (Inuyasha, Naruto, etc) the possibilities are endless. Get creative.

Wouldn't technically the students from High School of the Dead be simple cosplays? I saw there one only one character, but I would consider the uniforms to be quite easy to make or commission. Not counting wigs, shoes, contacts, props, etc.
