I don't think I will go for a wig, always been a natural hair kind of person, will possiby do the black hair but with a gradient of navy blue at the ends or at some points of the hair.

About the flaming eye, if you are familiar with the anime Ao No Exorcist, there was a cosplayer that did the fire he had made paper flames and colored them then attached its more so just give us the idea you don't have to have some all powerful looking black flame next to your eye Lol

You should do it I doubt people would think
you are messing up the character and I for one
have never really seen people cosplay as a male
BRS.

There's this tutorial on the flaming eye. It might be kind of troublesome, maybe? The tutorial was meant for a White Rock Shooter cosplay, but you know, same concept!
