Hello from P-town CA!

Oh Geeze, this is my first forum post so I hope it comes out ok....anywho, I am 16, near San Fran, and I want to cosplay. Every since going to Fanime 2011, all of the awesome cosplays inspired me to try and make one myself next time I go to an event like that. I do know sewing basics, and whatnot, so trying to make outfits won't be to painful. Besides that, I joined here to look around/make friends/get help on stuff/chat/ and weeb-out. I think that the first 'real' cosplay I want to do is to be either Kim Pine or Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim. But really, any cosplay that fits a slightly smaller than average girl with brown hair and eyes I'll try out. XD So that's the basics! I have a few cosplaying friends, but of course I would love to make more!

Fanime is an awesome event and a great way to be introduced to cosplay! Glad you're inspired. It's a long, frustrating, expensive, time-consuming road, but oh-so fun at the same time. XD

P.S. Scott Pilgrim is awesome! There's a whole sub-forum here for it, so you'll have plenty of guidance if you want it. ^_^

Thank you! And yeah, I have heard many stories of long roads to make a cosplay, so I am ready-ing myself up for that! XD

Awesome! I didn't start until my early 20s, so you have a nice head start. ^_^

Have fun, and don't worry about when something doesn't come out the first time. It's a learning experience and absolutely magical when it finally works.
