My first didn't hurt much at all, my second didn't hurt until the next day when suddenly putting any weight on my leg was nearly impossible, the third was sore because it was right on my boob when I was premenstrual, but the most recent two were definitely hard to sit through. Part of it is that they're just bigger, and I found that after time, the initial rush of endorphins wore off and it started to feel like getting wasp stings over a sunburn. Technically the owl still isn't done because I was in tears and my sister took pity on me.

When I'm healing up, I can usually deal with the itching, but I have a compulsive need to mess with the scabs. The tendency is to sort of rub at the flaking skin. It's still a no-no, but I haven't gotten any scarring except on my leg tattoo, and that might just have been because my sister had just finished her apprenticeship and I think she inked a little too deep in spots.
That's totally true. I've had friends say that their back tattoos really really hurt, especially along the spine. Then I had people say it didn't hurt at all, but actually tickled. Mine only hurt when I was getting the colouring done, and that was only just a bit. It's really weird how people take the pain differently... you'd think it would be pretty much the same.

The one that hurt the most for me was right between the cartilage and earlobe. It hurt even more than the ones higher up on the cartilage.

I know the names of the ones I want, and the names of a few my friends have. I have a lot of pierced friends, so I hear the proper names used all the time. XD Piercings and tattoos really fascinate me though, so I just kind of pick it up as I go along.

What kinda piercings do you have?
- left cartiledge
- right industrial
- lobes
- right eyebrow
- left nostril
- tongue
- vertical labret

What size are your ears? :3
My ears are 2g, which I've had stretched for almost 8 years. I've had the left pierced for almost 16 years and the right for almost 9. Lately I've been thinking of stretching them to 0.

Any piercings you want?
Well I just got my vertical labret done, which I wanted. I can't think of any other piercings I want at the moment.

Had simple usual piercings in my ears, but after one year of wearing earrings, any kind of earring would cause me a terrible infection with pain and ear lower part swelling, so I chose to better not wear earrings at all anymore; just letting the pierced ears regenerate.

Some people have a whole theme for a sleeve in mind when they get started, but many people I know just sort of let it come together over time. Completing a sleeve generally takes at least a few sessions and a lot of cash.

The second one would definitely look best across your whole back, but we'd have to find a really good copy-- or an artist who's willing to redraw it with a tattoo in mind. I still want to see your Children of Loki piece come together. We should get on that!

Oh, and did I ever show you this? Just sayin'.

I have...5 piercings in my ears, two on each lobe and one tiny hoop on my left cartilage. I also have a tattoo on my back shoulder blade of a swallow. I really want more but my husband is super against it :-/
