Well it may be a bit early but I thought I'd post anyway :P

Con-G will be back for it's 4th year on February 25 & 26, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Guelph Hotel & Conference Centre . This is the same location as 2011!

Expect a great time with more of the same awesomeness plus some fun surprises

Some information I can give out right now

Pre-Registration membership prices:
$22 from November 1 to December 31, 2011
$25 from January 1 to January 31, 2012

At the door membership prices:
$30 at the door for a weekend pass
$25 for a Saturday-only pass
$15 for a Sunday-only pass

There will be a Con-G room block in the hotel again, $104.99/night and its much bigger this year so hopefully we won't run out of rooms again. (Also no curling tourney the same weekend). I'll get more information when it become available.

Just some important dates
Pre-reg for Con-G 2012 opens November 1
Pre-reg price increase January 1
Pre-reg closes January 31
Artist Alley registration opens October 1
Dealers Room registration opens August 1

And we'll also be running an art cover contest - so now's your chance to have fun drawing Kon ^.^ More details to follow but prizes include an Artist Alley table.

The Con-G Survival Tag and Picnic will be held in the fall - Date TBA- we've decided that this summer is just soo full with all sorts of awesome conventions, events and picnics there's not a free weekend!

I'll be checking it out this year. I actually live in Kingston and have only attended AN for the past five years, but since my boyfriend lives in Guelph, we can both check out a local not-gigantic con that won't break the bank (meaning, no hotel room needed). Is the date the same weekend as that "Family Day" holiday this year, or is that the week before?...

Hehehe you won't miss out on too much though as our Artist Alley is in our events room

We set the date up to be the weekend after family day (we hope haha), it should fall on the last weekend for reading week - at least in Guelph, and not fall on the same weekend as Katsucon as based on our feedback survey

Also please sign up for panels If you have an idea and want to do one but are a little scared, we rarely run panels with only one panelist so there may be more than one person with the same idea and you could run it together

I've been waiting for next year's dates to be released! I've already decided on my two cosplays and what days to do them. The one, I'm pretty sure I'll freeze to death if I go outside.
