Thanks for the advice ChoclateMantle! I actually went to my first con and met some younger cosplayers. It was great to meet them, and their costumes were AWSOME!

 but I am turning 15 on the last day of August. I havn't cosplayed yet but hopefully I will this year

greetings, other younger cosplayer :') i turned 15 a couple months ago. a lot of the cosplay community seems to be 16+ :'D

I have noticed that most cosplayers are over 16 too RinoaShadow. It is good to finally meet some younger cosplayers!

I myself am 16...so a bit older than most of the people who've posted here! I'm pretty new to cosplay, but have done two so far (most notably Soul Eater Evans from Soul Eater) I'm in Geelong (so Melbourne is my cosplaying area  ) I has 1 cosplay friend (yes...I'll use that term :P) in Geelong, but have been productive and formed a cosplay group in Melbourne! So if anyone's interested let me know! Other than that, I'm just happy to talk to people who are into cosplaying and anime and the like, so feel free to chat!

welcome gejen! I thought I was young but I guess it's better to get into the cosplay scene rather young. Cosplaying is a really fun hobby as well as making new friends. I'm sure your first cosplay will go great and I can't wait to see it!
