Dot-con 2011
Who IS going???
I know it isn't for a while, however, time flies! Cosplays? Panels? This year, Jrock North is bringing BLOOD as a musical guest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ottz_k93jFY I'm so excited for this!! This is Kiwamu's (Manager of Starwave Records/Darkest Labrynth who brought us Luzmelt, The Fool and Bespa Kumamero) band, he plays guitar. This guy is very well known in the music industry. Many of his bands and the band he's in have toured all over US cons and Europe, as well as Japan of course. So yeah, I'm pretty excited as well as my friends ^^ I'm not sure as of who I'm going to cosplay, but it might be Umi from the Jrock band Vistlip. Also might do a couple of panels too.

Personally, as someone who has helped out at all 3 previous Dotcons, I hope as many of you as possible decide to show up this year and enjoy the event.
I encountered a fair number of people who had come up last year from the states. They told me they were enjoying themselves, but wished that there were more attendees... So if you've enjoyed yourself at one of the dotcons in the past, loved a band they brought in, or love seeing old cosplay pals in the middle of november...pass the word and see if we can make this the best dotcon yet....even if it only is a single day of programming. Thanks. |

My friend and I also went for the first time last year and had a blast. Everything was very well done and people were so friendly. My friend thought my bidding war at the charity auction was amusing....sorry to the group that lost to me....if I looked calm at all, I really wasn't. You guys put up an awesome bidding war.
I'm hoping to attend again this year and bring a few more people with me |

Yup, the charity auction was definitely one of the most enjoyable parts of the week-end last year...especially since we had two major "boys" vs. "girls" bidding wars. And that is always good for the charity being supported by the auction. I also enjoyed the trivia game and will pass onto the powers that be, the request to see both items repeated this year as well.

I would have to say, this is one of my favourite cons because of the small size and AWESOME GUESTS!!!! I will be attending this year
 I don't know who I will be cosplaying though. Ill figure that out later XD
