Does Eleora fiber look cheap?

I'm thinking of ordering the Linda B wig from Amphigory.com in the color Fire Red for an Asahina Mikuru cosplay.

Thing is, I just realized it's made of Eleora fiber. I've only had experience with Kanekalon. Is Eleora a good quality? I'd hate to pay so much money for a super shiny wig since that always cheapens the whole cosplay. >n<

Yes, it's a high quality fiber similar to kanekalon. It's just a different brand name (there are several wig companies which use their own brand of fiber that is similar or even superior to regular kanekalon).

The main concern for cosplayers is that Eleora tends to react differently to wig dye. But if you're not going to dye the wig a dark color, it really doesn't matter^^

Eleora is a coating that they put on Kanekalon fibers to make it softer. It's the equivalent of doing your hair with a spray conditioner - it adds a very natural texture to it. It's the most realistic looking of all the wig fibers, but as Kuukii-san said, the coating makes it resistant to some sorts of dye. If you are not going to dye it, it's fine. It's actually a very high quality fiber. (Technically not a different type of fiber - just a process the Kanekalon goes through.)

You don't have to worry about it looking unnatural or cheap. It actually looks the most similar to real hair out of all the synthetic blends out there.

Judge for yourself (these were also dyed and heavily styled, and I got many comments along the lines of "Woah, those are WIGS?"); http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2325625/ http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2325671/

Oh I wasn't planning on dying it at all. I had no idea it was so similiar to kanekalon. Amphigory said it was "very soft and very shiny" so I immediately thought it was like, a party store wig. But thankyou so much!
