I'm in the process of starting this cosplay, and I was wondering if anyone knew what brand of shoes the girls are wearing and/or where I can find them or something similar.

Also, does anyone know how many panels of red and white the skirts are made of? I'd like to do 13 myself (to match the flag, hurhur), but the problem comes when you sew it closed and end up with two reds together. If it's impossible just due to the laws of symmetry and whatnot, that's fine. It'd just be helpful to know.

It looks like a 20 panel layer skirt, but I wouldn't be shy about adding more panels on an as-needed basis. You're going to have to do an even number so that you won't have a red to red scenario. Imagine the current flag as a skirt (red on top and bottom stripes). So, an even numbered approach is necessary.

I can't help you out as far as brand of the shoes, but I'm sure that any random open toed silver heels from a thrift or google found store will do.

Thank you! I actually started on it while my comp was out of commission and made the skirt 14 panels instead of 20, but I've got them gathered enough that they should hopefully look close to the pictures.
