I'm really tempted to start a Jon Snow cosplay later this year. Love him in both the books and the show.

Jon Snow is a go, I'll start working on the costume in July. I have two friends joining in as Robb Stark and Dany. We may also have a Drogo. They'll probably be an SDCC 2013 or Comikaze Expo 2012 debut.

I'll be sure to once we get started. I think I'll buy the fur the next time I go fabric shopping- and maybe the fabric for Jon's cloak. Depends on my finances though.

I am going to cosplay as Arya Stark for the Georgia Renaissance Festival in April/May/June (I don't know how many times I will go). I would like to make/find her vest that she wears in this picture:
However, I don't think I have the time or the skill to make it, so unless I can find something similar, I will just do this outfit:
I'm going to see what my local thrift stores have to offer, and I need to make Needle. I am thankful I don't need a wig for this cosplay, since I have the same hair.

Entertainment Weekly just released pics from the second season of Daenery's Qartheen dress. I can't decide if I want to do that or her outfit before she walks into Drogo's pyre.

Hi all ^^.

Just came across this thread. I recently had the chance to cosplay as Jaime Lannister as part of a group here in the UK. Considering how long I have cosplayed (20 years) it was by far one of my costume highlights. I got to hang with a lovely bunch of friends as well as make new ones. We all had a great time in the photo-shoot. So much so that we are trying again later on this year.

I was originally going to cosplay as Dany as I have white blond hair at the correct length already but decided since there was already a Dany signed up to the group that I would switch to Jaime. I had great fun putting his base costume together. I am planning on doing Dany at a later date as well as more of Jaime's costumes including the Kingsguard armour.

Here is the video of our Masquerade entry. I hope you enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8wVu...&feature=share

I'll be adding the costume shortly on here so you can see photos from the shoot.

Loving this thread and all the costumes. Looking forward to seeing more.

I've shifted my original Theon idea and decided on Jon Snow. So far I'm about 50% done with it.

Changed to doing Jaime Lannister, since my friend would make a perfect Jon and he wanted to.

I may wind up making a cosplay of "Young Griff" from ADWD as well.

At the very beginning stages of putting together a Catelyn cosplay -- fabric gathering and notetaking/sketching/screencapping. Probably going for the basic flat-colour dress she wears in the first season, because I have no particular interest in driving myself insane looking for a particular pattern of brocade again. XD

(And one of these days I will cosplay the Queen of Thorns, simply because I CAN. Just need to find me some minions ...)
Current Projects:
Therese von Ludowing (Sound Horizon's Märchen)
Catelyn Stark (A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones)
Elisabeth - red ballgown (Elisabeth - Takarazuka version)
Thessaly (Sandman - The Kindly Ones)

Man, I can't believe this season is already over. It felt like it just started....

It's so simple, but I love Shae's dress. I actually want to use a similiar style for another project, but I have no idea what to call that when searching for a pattern. Halter top and gathered halter top didn't work so I am at a bit of a loss.... Any suggestions?

Cosplay Plan of Attack:

Umm.... nothing at the moment is being worked on.
All creative power diverted to FanExpo Artist's Alley table! Yay! Accessories and such!

Costume Con 32 was AMAZING!!!!

@Moofingham: This pattern might be a good place to start.
