That location with the link is pretty cool. I'd love to see a shot of the link posing with the dog like statue, or directly between both of them. It would be reminiscent of Twilight Princess.

It's a memorial structure for two war veterans as far as I can tell. The two large stones for them were in front of the dogs. The only Zelda game I really played through was "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" for the original Gameboy, so I'm not too familiar with what scenes might work best, but when we came upon the memorial, I thought it would work reasonable well.

I did take a few photos of her between the dogs.

I went to PowerMorphicon 3. It's a convention mainly for Power Ranger fans and other Sentai shows. Here, is a cosplaying fan Kim Williams, leaping for my lens with good form!



Then, as he requested to "see me in action". Yep. He wanted a photo with me doing my notorious jumping side-kick.

Hmmm, I suppose I can show my one of my photos from a mini indoor photoshoot with a friend's friend. :3 I realized I still had much to learn about indoor photoshoots and helping the models with poses and expressions (as well as ideas to give to them as I know many of new and young cosplayers sometimes get too nervous in front of a camera). Well, I tried my best. 8D Next time, I hope to do better. :3

Thanks Akahime: I like your most recent posted photo. The composition is nice, with your subject and the colorful elements above her head coming out of the blackness, giving it a Cameo effect.

Here was a great photo opportunity for me. After 19 years since I worked as the photographer on the Power Rangers, I got this chance to photograph 6 cosplayers dressed in those same costumes at PowerMorphicon 3.



Then, of course, I had to get my "money shot", my, now expected Jumping Side-Kick. The cosplayers all knew Japanese-style poses, so they needed very little directing. Getting this shot below made my day!

I met so many friendly and beautiful new people, and got a lot of shots that I'm pleased with.

My current favorite from my first shoot out of six scheduled shoots: With Xena, Gabrielle, and Callisto.
