Princess Peach--color opinions (image heavy)
I love Princess Peach. I also love the color yellow. I am not, however, a fan of Princess Daisy, the princess known for her yellow dress. I really want to make Peach's Brawl dress with the yellow (or "Daisy") color variations, but I am so afraid of being mistaken for Daisy herself! Take a look at Peach's outfits in the game:
 And Princess Daisy:  Now my question is, if you were to see a Princess Peach wearing yellow, would you think she was Daisy? Even if she had blonde hair?

Unfortunately Peach and Daisy are nearly identical except for the colors... so if I saw a Peach in yellow, I would think Daisy with inaccurate hair. Or a character I didn't know/fan character.
Even Brawl Peach in Daisy's colors has brown hair (and in Melee, tan skin). And early artwork of Daisy has her blonde-ish. http://techtroids.com/wp-content/upl...ario-land1.jpg

Maybe you can reinvent it? Like, don't use orange, us another color that goes well with yellow?
