Zenkaikon 2012

I know its really super early to be making a thread for this but I was just wondering if anyone knew who they were going to Zenkaikon as next year?

giving that it is still pretty early and i tend to change my mind a lot i was thinking about going as Korilakkuma gijinka, some form of Miku and Sweet Bear Lolita :]

My friend and I are planning to go as Zuko and Katara from Avatar: TLA. As long as I can buy a sewing machine and get my wig, my cosplay for Zuko should be pretty bangin' by the time the con rolls around. Do you guys know if it's supposed to be around the same time for 2012 as it was for this year?

The big question is where and when this con might be. There is construction at the Valley Forge Convention Center, I heard they were remodeling a section as a casino but I'm not sure about that. The staff is looking for a new place.

I'll be going as well. Cruentusinfeci and I are going as a pair, but we've decided on Ty Lee and Zuko instead. It's going to be my first cosplay. ;'D

I hope you heard right but I learned the hard way that things sometime have to change. Until the offical time and place is posted I am not making any plans.

I'll be there! This should be my sixth year going. I'll be bringing my Tsunade cosplay, and a mystery cosplay! Any Hellsing cosplayers? I'd love to see some! :3

Just saw the info on Zenkaikon and thought I would pass it on. Zenkaikon will be May 11-12 at the Greater Philidelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. No word yeat on prices, guests, or events.

I may go up, since I was born and raised in Philly but have not been back for about 8 years. Plus it being later in the year than usual does help with planning.

The group I travel with to cons is waiting for information on a Hotel Block before we make our decision. I hope to be making it back as Zenkaikon for the most part has been really great.

Zenkaikon is considering having Cosplay Chess at Zenkaikon 2012 on May 11-12.

We are looking for interested and experienced people to run Cosplay Chess for our next event, and to get a gauge on public interest.

If interested in running Cosplay Chess, please use the Zenkaikon website contact form and select "Cosplay" for the Category. Briefly explain your experience running cosplay chess and at which conventions.

If interested in participating in Cosplay Chess, please post in this thread, in our forums, so that we can gauge interest. Remember, we need a certain amount of dedicated participants to sign up and volunteer a portion of their time to take part in this event. Without you, we can't make this event happen.
