How to untangle a wig

So we have a Miku wig that just keeps getting more tangled each time we comb it out and gets frizzy. HELP?! XD

1. Use a wide tooth comb.
2. start at the bottom and work your way up
3. In general, you shouldn't comb a wet wig.
4. Depending on how tangled it is you have a few options

A. I've gotten some wigs detangled using a mixture of water and regular conditioner in a spray bottle
B. Some people use Oil sheen spray. http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=118976
c. And for something that's really bad, you can go industrial! http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=185958

Long wigs are a pain. I have a 51' white wig that is a brat. What I did helped a lot, I got a wide tooth comb and I sat there for a good hour or two and combed it. When it was finally manageable, I layered it. It may sound a little insane, but it works because there isn't so much bulk so it tangled a lot let easier. Pony tails would work much of the same, just cut in circles (if that makes any sense) that way the middle is the longest part.

That same exact thing happened to my Miku wig, too! Luckily I saved it with this tutorial! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7P7HpcwIb0 It was quite easy!

Also be really gentle when combing a long wig out, you can't pull on it like you can with human hair. It's why you get frizzies - from pulling to hard. And be patient and go slow. My long wigs can take as much as 3 hours to comb out.
