So onto topic. I'm planning on cosplaying as Sin (Synthia Schmidt) Red Skull's Daughter soon. (The pre-burning incident)

Thing is, Im quite a newbie to costume making.. ive done a fair bit of sewing but i'm having big trouble deciding how to make the boots. Im thinking of making some boot covers with elastic? What do you think?

Also i've tried googling her gun (i think its a pistol.. im not sure, what do you think?) Ive had a look round and pretty difficult finding a similar gun, unless i buy one and spray paint it.

My main issue is the boots really.. I would really appreciate any advice or help

The weapon in the first image looks to be a Luger, the second image is hard to tell from the front on angle but maybe a Tech-9 based on the size, barrel and magazine. I'm not familiar with the character so I don't have any reference base.
On the boots you look for some that are similar and customize or go with your original idea and use a boot cover method. Try the SCF or LOH for tutorials.

Thanks for the reply. What would you reccomend doing for the gun? Also Where is the SCF and LOG tutorials? Sorry im quite new to this and not sure where everything is yet. Thanks very much for your help.

On the gun try an airsoft dealer, online or eBay will be the best bet. For the tutorials you are looking for The League of Heroes and The Superhero Costuming Forum
