Last Movie You Watched?
Exactly what the title says. Say the last movie you watched and rate it from 1-5.
Ed Wood - 4/5 I liked how it was in black & white. Also it was interesting to see a sympathetic take on the life of the man considered the worst director ever.

Fright Night (2011) - 3/5
Pretty good movie. Has a good sense of humor, decent dialogue, and is entertaining all around. Some of the film got a little too cheesy for me, but only briefly. Colin Ferrell is amazing in his role.

Deathly Hollows pt 2. -3/5
While I enjoyed it overall there where a few moments that took away from the mood, a few sort of 'silly' faces added to scenes that where suppose to be serious for what I imagine was avoiding making the film as dark as the book was. Many of the deaths where not focused on camera, [spoilers]save for what looked like Ron's ditzy girlfriend from the Half-Blood Prince being murdered (shown as dead) by what I imagine was Grayback. [/spoilers] Some pretty vital scenes where condensed into a barely recognizable blur, fans of the book will likely talk about Snape's memory scenes as being grossly condensed and I imagine someone who hasn't read the books won't really gather it to it's fullest extent. I was quite excited for this, and I felt a bit disappointed. Almost as if I fell asleep and woke up half way in.

Tekkonkinkreet 5/5
It was Stunning! The attention to detail was beyond that of a Ghibli! The character design was ugly, yet beautiful. The story is one that has done before... kinda, but in this kind of way. The film is very deep and touching, and leave room for thought and analysis.

Better Off Dead 5/5
The best of the 80's teen comedies and by far my favorite John Cusack movie. To be fair I watched it since it is a favorite of mine so the rating is pretty heavily biased.

From Dusk Till Dawn
4/5 You just don't see it coming if you haven't looked it up beforehand, you'd understand what I mean if you saw it. If you want to see it, don't look it up, you'll ruin it. I'm not one for George Clooney, but he was alright. And Juliet Lewis is in it, love her. Screenplay by Quentin Tarantino. It's about two convicted criminal brothers (Clooney aaaaand Quentin Tarantino <3 -- come on, how could you go wrong with Quentin Tarantino?) on the run; who then force a recently widowed Minister of a church who has lost his faith to drive them to Mexico; along with his son and daughter (Lewis.) Believe me, it's more then just that. I only say 4/5 because people might not like how it goes, but I think it's brilliant!

The last movie that I watched all the way through would be Psycho Gothic Lolita. And I have to give it 5/5 because it looks like they tried and actually believed that it was a horror movie when they released it. Now, that's some commitment.

Fright Night [2011]
4/5 it was surprisingly better then what i was expecting. david tennant was brilliant, though i think russell brand would've fit that particular role a bit better. overall not bad. i was going to give it a 3.5/5 but in one scene you can see a League of Legends poster on the wall as well as the computer wallpaper. freakin' awesome right?

What was the last movie I saw...
Oh yes that X-Men First Class thing. 3/5, simply because it wasn't that shitty Wolverine movie.

Enchanted
4/5 I love the music in the movie, characters, costumes (especially Giselle's wedding dress, it has many layers of petticoats under it >w<), and how the animated characters transform into real life people. And I also like how it shows the contrast of fantasy and reality.

A french film called Anything For Her. Really good, really tense thriller. About a man trying to break his wife out of prision after she was falsely accused of murder. It's main stength being that the characters are normal people, the husband is a french teacher and he has to delve into the criminal underground to learn how to break her out and ends up going to some extreme lengths. Well performed, pacey, doesn't overstay its welcome at 90 mins.
5/5
