We watched Cowboys and Aliens on Christmas...

This is how I described it to my friend: Oh, oh hey look Daniel Craig. Hope he doesn't embarrass himself with a Souther... oh okay. Okay he's cool. Where the hell are the aliens? Who's that scrawny... is Harrison Ford the bad guy? OH THANK GOD, ALIENS. I was getting worried for a minu.... what the hell is going on. What the hell is going on? What are they... who is... they have Indians now? Who is that.. what is she.. that.. is..? wha..

And then it ended.

I'm still not sure if I liked it or not.

I have decided to host a comedy roast of the Santa Clause 3 at next year's Holiday Matsuri con.
Which required me to watch it again the other night to take notes and point out the glaring flaws. Painful to watch, it was, but I survived.

Went to the movie theatre and saw We Bought a Zoo. It was a really good movie. I recommend it. It's very funny.

Not going to lie-- I'm planning on seeing that just for Benidict Cumberbatch...

Last night I watched Thor and a Muppet Christmas Carol back to back. I'm officially ready for the Avengers movie now-- I missed Thor and Captain America while they were in theatres this summer.

The last movie that I watched was, unfortunately, The Santa Clause 3.
A while before that we'd started Hercules and I've been dying to finish it, because I've never actually seen it before. xD

I will crucify that movie so hard when given the opportunity.
I pity the poor souls who shelled out $11 (or however much it costs to see a film in the theaters this days) for the tickets to see it in the theater.

I watched Johnny Dangerously last night, with Michael Keaton. I love him so much ^_^ But in all seriousness, after studying the gangster film genre in a lot more detail, I was able to appreciate the film and more of its references than before.

Back to the Future - 4/5

I haven't seen this movie in years so I enjoyed re-watching it since it is a classic. I never noticed how cheesy some of the acting was (mainly on Crispin Glover and Lea Thompson's part), but the story and special effects were great. It'd get a solid 5/5 if it weren't for what I mentioned previously.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Say what you want about Tom Cruise, the man has bigger balls than you. He did that stunt on the building in Dubai without a double. That's brass, my friends. Great movie by the way. Jeremy Renner is one of my favorite actors right now. The man is cool. Period.

Watched Captain America: The First Avenger and I liked it more than I thought I would. I'd give it 4/5. Also watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice. It was better than I thought it would be, there were a couple of funny parts. I'd give it 3/5.

The last thing I saw was "War Horse."

Visuals: 4/5
Plot: 2/5

I cried. A lot. I didn't want to see it, but was made to and promised good food if I did. lobster Bisque was not worth it. It was Beautiful to look at but so freakin' sad!

But Before That, I saw "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" 5/5 all the way there. I'd never seen any Mission Impossible movies before, but I loved this so much. It was a good time.
