We Bought a Zoo. It was so cheesy, kinda typical and full of sap

... but god dammit, did it warm my heart. Also, there's a scene where a kid straight up punts a snake across a yard. Pretty much the best thing I've seen.

The Hunger Games - 4/5

Had no expectations going in. It was pretty enjoyable. I can see why teenagers enjoy this kinda thing.

I saw John Carter of Mars and I really thoroughly enjoyed it. It's *very* PG-13, by which I mean it is artfully crafted in a sexless and profanity-free way to give dolphin-noise joy to the barely-teenaged part inside me that fucking LOVES science princesses and big awesome ships and cool aliens and big fights and funny animals and everybody doing the Right Thing eventually and everything turning out Just Fine.

It's what I wished the Star Wars prequels had been.

The Hunger Games!! Last night at the dine in theater=)

I did think they did a really good job, but I also was slightly disappointed that they left quite a bit out and I would have liked them to elaborate on certain things, the dogs in it were all wrong etc. But all and all, I gave it an 8/10 and thought it was a pretty good. If they had added the stuff I had wanted them to, it would have been a 10/10 though, it had an excellent cast too. Harry Potter's movies have always been perfect for me.

But all and all, they did a great adaption. I won't even go into twilight, I guess they make a crappy movie for a crappy book lol.

Hunger Games. Midnight showing before I went up to the mountains for the weekend. Not the greatest, but still pretty enjoyable. (Am I the only one who didn't like Peeta's actor?)

Now I'm rewatching a personal favorite: The King's Speech.

I watched The Adventures of Tintin. I really liked this movie. The animation was the best I've seen in awhile and Steven Spielberg did a great job with the story. There were not many slow spots and a lot of action. For a PG movie I thought it was great. 5/5

I watched the theatrical cut of Alien3.

I've seen it loads of times already, but for some reason I was watching it with my crew hat on and nitpicking all of the makeup and aliens. I always hate when Weyland's ear is flapping off at the end. It's just so horrifyingly disgusting.
