Puss in Boots: 5/5

He was my favorite character in the Shrek movies but always got sort of pushed aside. Now he's in a starring role and pulls it off great. The 3D and animation was excellent.

Paranormal Activity 2.

3.5/5- Kudos for actually making me jump a few times even though it was just a rewatch. Now to see Paranormal Activity 3...

Koyaanisqatsi.
5/5. Might be from 1982 and certainly an art film, but it NEVER stops being interesting and hell, I bought it for the music more than anything (Philip GLass= awesome). And it seems to be my go-to piece if I need to sit the hell down and sew something without getting too bored.

Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva

5/5

I just found out there was a Prof. Layton movie, and it made me really excited! Definitely a treat for any fan, it has the feel of the game's cutscenes (but lasts for a whole hour and a half instead!). It's easy to pick out any of the fan-favourite lines, and contains many miniature puzzles throughout the storyline that leaves the audience trying to solve them while the characters are.

The rating would be higher if Justin Timberlake was a decent actor.

Full disclosure: I hadn't seen it until last night.

Am currently watching Van Helsing. Ugh.

Captain America

4.5/5 - I know there was a lot of hype around it being good (and that usually means let down for me), but I didn't listen to it and instead tried to enjoy the movie. A lot of cool scenes and semi-accurate story-line; definitely one of the better super hero movies out there.
